Fundraising Feature Being Tested In Stories
Facebook-owned, Instagram is reportedly testing a donation sticker on its Stories feature that would offer fundraising and donation tools.
Jane Manchun Wong, App researcher, shares her discovery of the donation sticker being tested on her account. It appears that users can search and choose a nonprofit of their liking and when posted on their story, viewers will be able to click through to a donation page.
The fundraising feature seems similar to what Facebook offers with its donation tools for charity or personal reasons. When this feature releases to the public, then users will be able to search for a non-profit and add the ability to make donations through Instagram Stories.
